Regular
Creamy mac and cheese as usual.
Better
Same mac — smaller bowl. Not cauliflower mac unless you want a different dish.
Ingredients
- 12 oz (340 g) pasta (about 4 servings dry weight, or scale down)
- Sauce of choice (tomato, meat, cheese) — about 2–3 cups
- Protein if used (meat, beans, or cheese)
- Garlic, onion, oil or butter, salt, pepper
- Optional: grated cheese, herbs, side salad
Instructions
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente; reserve a little pasta water.
- Warm or cook the sauce and any protein.
- Toss pasta with sauce, loosen with pasta water if needed.
- Plate and top with cheese or herbs as usual.
- Same pasta shape and sauce style as Regular.
- Add more protein or veg to the sauce, or plate a smaller pasta mound with the same sauce.
- Still the pasta dish you wanted — not zucchini noodles by default.
Better steps keep the same dish — one useful change, not a different recipe.
