Regular
Full pho — broth, noodles, protein, herbs.
Better
Same broth and style with extra protein and a moderate noodle portion. Still pho.
Ingredients
- 2 portions noodles
- 6 cups broth (bone, chicken, or your usual base)
- Protein (chicken, beef, tofu, or egg) for 2 bowls
- Aromatics: garlic, ginger, onion or scallion
- Toppings: herbs, lime, chili, bean sprouts as appropriate
- Seasoning: soy, fish sauce, or salt to taste
Instructions
- Simmer broth with aromatics until flavorful.
- Cook noodles separately; prepare protein.
- Assemble bowls: noodles, broth, protein, toppings.
- Serve hot as full bowls.
- Same broth style, noodles, and toppings as Regular.
- Add extra protein or an egg, or use a slightly smaller noodle portion in the same broth.
- Still a noodle soup — not a broth-only “diet” bowl unless you choose that.
Better steps keep the same dish — one useful change, not a different recipe.
