Ingredients

  • 1 cup White rice cooked
  • 1 cup Brown rice cooked
  • 2 cup Red lentils dry
  • 3 Red onion raw
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsp Cumin seed ground

Instructions

  1. Cook lentils in water until tender; drain.
  2. Slice onions thin and cook slowly in olive oil until deeply caramelized.
  3. Stir cumin into the lentils, then fold in the rice.
  4. Top with the caramelized onions.
  5. Serve warm, with yogurt on the side if you like.
