Ingredients
- 500 g Beef stew meat
- 1 cup Bulgur wheat dry
- 1 cup Red lentils dry
- 4 tbsp Ghee
- 2 Red onion raw
- 2 tsp Garam masala
- 2 Garlic clove
- 20 g Fresh ginger

Instructions
- Simmer the beef with ginger and garlic in water until very tender; shred finely.
- Separately cook the bulgur and lentils until soft, then blend to a smooth, thick consistency.
- Fry sliced onions in ghee until deep golden and crisp; set aside.
- Combine the shredded beef with the wheat-lentil mixture and stir in garam masala.
- Simmer to your desired thick consistency and top with the fried onions to serve.
- Same haleem, with the ghee used for frying and tempering cut roughly in half.
- Simmer the beef with ginger and garlic until tender; shred finely.
- Cook and blend the bulgur and lentils until smooth.
- Fry the onions in the reduced ghee until golden.
- Combine everything, stir in garam masala, simmer to consistency, and top with onions.
