Regular
Classic hamburger — bun, patty, usual toppings. No forced changes.
Better
Same hamburger with a larger patty, or keep the burger and control the side and drink.
Ingredients
- 2 burger buns
- 2 beef patties (about 4–6 oz / 115–170 g each)
- 2 slices cheese
- Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles as you like
- Salt, pepper, and condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo)
- Optional side: fries or salad
Instructions
- Season the patties with salt and pepper.
- Cook in a skillet or on a grill over medium-high heat, about 3–4 minutes per side for medium, or to your preferred doneness. Add cheese in the last minute so it melts.
- Toast the buns lightly if you want.
- Assemble: bottom bun, toppings, patty with cheese, condiments, top bun.
- Serve as a full burger with your usual side.
- Same method as Regular — same buns, cheese, and toppings.
- Use a larger or double patty (or two thinner patties) for more protein, still cooked the same way.
- Or keep a single patty and skip a large fries/sugary drink so the burger stays the center of the meal.
- Assemble exactly like a normal cheeseburger. Do not turn it into a lettuce wrap.
- Serve so it still looks and eats like the burger you wanted.
Better steps keep the same dish — one useful change, not a different recipe.
